For your consideration: If you are super fan and collector of Atletico Morelia items, and a fan and collector of items related to the legendary Mexico National Team goalkeeper...and former manager of Morelia...Antonio La Tota "5 Copas" Carbajal, then here is a super super rare item for your collection.

Up for sale, we have a super cool...and very VERY rare to find...Vintage Atletica Morelia, 1998/1999 Home Authentic Replica Soccer Jersey, size men's large, that has been autographed by Antonio "El Cinco Copas" Carbajal. The measurements are as follows:

25" across the chest from armpit seam to armpit seam

34" total length from top of collar down back to bottom hem.

On the back of this jersey, it appears that Antonio Carbajal signed this jersey for either some player or a fan. Be sure to check out all of the pictures of the back of the jersey which show what it appears that Mr. Carbajal wrote and signed. Items signed by Antonio Carbajal are extremely rare to find, as back towards the end of his playing days, and then when he retired from playing, his manager days...including managing Morelia from 1985 to 1995...the collectibles market was just really started to get hot. And even though Carbajal was and is, a true legend of Mexico National Team soccer, back when he played in the 50's amd 60's and 70's, there was not nearly as much emphasis on collectible items like signatures and jersey and other memorabilia. That is likely why you find so few items with Carbajal's signature on them, and as great as he was, as a goalkeeper, he was not crazy super popular and famous like a star forward/striker or midfielder like a Pele', or Maradona, or Messi.

Now...it is important to note, and for you, as a potential buyer to understand, that while I do believe this jersey to be genuinely signed by Antonio Carbajal, I do not have absolute proof of this being his real signature, no COA, or a picture of him signing the jersey...but...There is one other jersey out for sale on Ebay that shows the exact same Carbajal autograph signature as what is on my jersey, and the exact same quick note to the person whose jersey it was, that says the exact same thing as my jersey, just with a different persons name.

Also, since Carbajal was not an All World Superstar like a Pele/Maradona/Messi, it is highly unlikely that anyone would go to the trouble of trying to forged Carbajal's signature, as an autograph on an item, like a jersey. The scammers only do that for superstar level, super popular players in any sport, and back when this jersey was signed, which I would guess was many many years, even possibly or likely many decades ago, people trying to cheat people that way, faking signatures, was just not very common.

So, even though I do not have any direct proof of authenticity of this signature, I truly do believe that this is an actual autograph from Antonio Carbajal...but you will have to be the judge on this for yourself. If you have any doubts, please do not seriously consider buying this jersey.
